I am a visual communicator with a background in theater design that provides me with the skills to see the big picture and also problem solve on a budget and on deadline. I am capable of working independently with minimal direction or being a part of a larger design production team and have an excellent work ethic, plus strong time management and interpersonal skills.
My knowledge base includes print design, branding, marketing, front-end web design, magazine app development and a really good homemade baklava.
Friends in Deed
Friends In Deed is a non-profit crisis center that provides free emotional and spiritual support for anyone who needs it. They desired new branding and marketing materials to help increase their visability and support. They didn't want a drastic change from the current logo so I worked with them to create a solid evolution, incorporating a new color scheme and clean typography.
Summer Sunday Concert Series
The Summer Sunday concerts are a free series that take place during the summer in Bend, Oregon. The client requested a fun, eye-catching poster that showcased what the event was all about.
Stowe Land Trust
SLT is a small, member-supported, non-profit land conservation organization that has conserved nearly 2,500 acres in the Stowe area since 1987. As part of it's outreach, SLT produces a newsletter twice a year that is mailed to members and also posted on their website. The old newsletter was mostly in black and white; we went all color for the redesign with a soft natural color palette and a clean, eye-catching, easy to read design.
Stowe Mountain Bike Club
The Stowe Mountain Bike Club is a small non-profit dedicated to cultivating a vibrant mountain bike culture with a world-class multi-use trail network, supported by and engaged with the local community. As part of it's annual fundraising efforts, it reaches out to the many local businesses for corporate sponsorship support. I designed a marketing piece that was given to hundreds of organzations in the region showcasing the progress the club has made and it's goals for the future. SMBC more than doubled it's corporate sponsorship that year.
Lamoille County Beekeepers Club
The Lamoille County Beekeepers Club decided to step it up a notch for the annual state-wide conference and requested a logo for their organization. The logo was designed taking into consideration its usage - marketing collateral, t-shirts, and online.

A modern logo redesign for a multi-faceted painting company; accompanied by a website redesign.
The Bikes, Bevs and Beats Festival is a three day town-wide celebration, complete with a critical mass ride. Marketing materials included posters, lawn signs, and a schedule with map given out to participants during the event.

Friends In Deed Year End Appeal
Friends In Deed is a non-profit crisis center that provides free emotional and spiritual support for anyone who needs it. Their year-end appeal, sent out both via mail and digitally, is the biggest fundraiser for the organization. I worked with them to come up with a key message that would encourage more donations - the message that a lot of their clients are so grateful for FID that they end up volunteering for the organization. The mailing was a large foldout, printed on thick paper, that, combined with their branding update, resulted in a large increase in donations that year.
